फिर भी दिल हैं हिंदुस्तान | Still, the Heart is India
भारत के उत्तर प्रदेश के एक महानगर में एक नामी नौजवान रहता था जिसका नाम अमित था। अमित एक शांत व्यक्ति था जिसे संगीत से बहुत प्यार था। उसके लिए संगीत ही सब कुछ था। वह बिना संगीत के जीवन की कल्पना भी नहीं कर सकता था।
एक दिन अमित अपने गाँव जाने का फैसला लेता है। उसके गाँव जाने का मुख्य कारण था कि उसके गांव में उसके नाना जी बहुत गम्भीर बीमारी से पीड़ित थे, जिसे सभी दवाईयों से ठीक नहीं किया जा सकता था। उसने उनसे वादा किया था कि वह उन्हें ठीक कर लेगा।
अमित गांव पहुँचते ही नाना जी के पास जाता है, उनकी बीमारी को देखकर उसे दुःख हुआ। उसने नाना जी को एक चमत्कारी आयुर्वेदिक औषधि का नीम है, जो वह लाया था। नाना जी का स्वास्थ्य धीरे-धीरे सुधरने लगा।
एक दिन अमित आयुर्वेदिक दवाई को लेकर बाजार से लौटते हुए बोलता है, “हमारे देश में तो बहुत सारे चमत्कार के लिए जाने जाते हैं, लेकिन वे हमारे देश की भौतिकता से कुछ नहीं हटा पाएंगे।”
एक अगले दिन, अमित को देखते हुए एक विदेशी व्यक्ति उसके पास जाकर कहता है, “मैंने आज तक किसी देश में भी जितना सुख और शान्ति महसूस नहीं किया है जितना मैंने भारत में महसूस किया है।”
यह सुनते ही अमित का मन सुख-शान्ति से भर जाता है। वह भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों की यात्रा पर जाना शुरू करता है। उसने भारत के अनेक ऐतिहासिक स्थलों, देश के भिन्न धर्मों और राज्यों की विशेषताओं से रुचि लिए।
वह राजस्थान के संगीत, दिल्ली के इट्टा, महाराष्ट्र के पारंपरिक खाने, पंजाब के लंगर और बिहार के खास खिचड़ी का मजा लेने के अलावा बुंदेलखंड के शांतिपूर्ण पेड़ों के सम्राट रानी जी के चकर लग कर उसके समय को गुजारता है।
भारत की यात्रा से लौटते समय अमित को एहसास होता है कि हालांकि बदलती तकनीक और सोने से लेकर चांद तक की जानकारी के नाम पर सबसे बड़े उत्कृष्टता का दावा किए जा सकते हैं, अमित के जैसे हजारों लोग भारतीय राजनीति, संस्कृति और यहाँ की परंपराओं के नेहरू के समझ से दूर रहते हैं। विदेशों में बच्चे भी भारत के संस्कृति के गीत गाते हैं जबकि यहान पर चुनावों में बदले की राजनीति गति पकड़ रही है।
फिर भी दिल हैं हिंदुस्तान और अमित की भावनाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए उसे सदैव ढाई किलोमीटर में चलने वाले साइकिल की तरह हर तरह की लोगों से मिलने और जनसमूह वाले उपलब्धियों में उनकी व्यक्तिगत रुचि लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है।
अमित ने भारत में चल रही भ्रष्टाचार को देखते हुए एक छोटा सा विकल्प चुन लिया है। वह इस देश के उन्नति के लिए मेहनत करना चाहता है। उसने यह भी देखा है कि भारत में कई समस्याएं हैं जो आम जनता को परेशान कर रही हैं। लेकिन उसकी यात्रा उसे यह बात दर्शाती है कि हम एक ही देश हैं और हमारा एक ही दिल हमें साथ रखता है।
Still, the heart is India – Amit, a young man hailing from a city in Uttar Pradesh, had a passion for music. Music was everything for him. One day, he decided to go to his village. The main reason for going to his village was to meet his grandfather who was suffering from a serious illness that could not be cured by any medicine. He promised to cure him.
Amit arrived at his village and went to see his grandfather. Seeing his grandfather’s illness, he felt sad. He gave his grandfather a miraculous Ayurvedic medicine he had brought. His grandfather’s health began to improve gradually.
One day, Amit, returning from the market with Ayurvedic medicine, says, “In our country, many miracles are claimed but they cannot remove the physicality of our country.”
The next day, a foreigner sees Amit and approaches him, saying, “I have never felt as much happiness and peace anywhere in any country as I have felt in India.”
Hearing this, Amit’s heart was filled with happiness and peace. He began traveling to various states in India. He took an interest in different historical places of India, the country’s different religions, and state features.
He enjoyed Rajasthan’s music, Delhi’s bread, Maharashtra’s traditional food, Punjab’s langar, and Bihar’s special khichdi, besides spending his time circling the serene trees of Bundelkhand’s queen Rani Saheb.
As Amit returned from his trip to India, he felt that although changing technology and claims of the top excellence from gold to information about the moon can be made, thousands of people like Amit remain away from the culture, politics, and traditions of India. Children sing culture songs of India abroad, while electoral politics is accelerating changes in India.
Still, the heart is India, and taking Amit’s feelings into account, he is encouraged to meet all types of people, like the cycle that runs three and a half kilometers always, to gain his personal interests in public successes.
After witnessing corruption rampant in India, Amit has chosen a small option. He wants to work for the development of this country. He has also seen that India has many problems that are bothering the common people. But his journey shows him that we are one country and our hearts keep us together.
